Dinner with Cousins

Jeff and I had a lovely evening meeting up with my cousins, Marlies and Christine. They made the trip from Amsterdam and Hilversum. It was great catching up with them and talking about our common history. It made me realize that there was a loss when our families immigrated in the '50's. I have memories of playing in card board boxes outside on the lawn at the home of Marlies and Christine, in Dordrecht. Our families also spent a few weeks together at the seashore in Wyk aan Zee, as children.
